His Light Will Overcome Your Darkness

Psalm 103:7 "He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel."

Living for God is a process that takes years to develop. For people to walk with God in the garden in the cool of the day, they must get to know Him intimately. So many know of Him, but not many really know Him intimately. So many know His deeds but not many know His ways.

Over the last nearly 7 years I have seen some of my deepest, darkest days, as well as some of my brightest, most joyful days. Infertility is something you can’t fully understand until you’ve been there. The pain, the fear, the uncertainty – it’s so real and so raw.

Helpless, totally helpless, as well as ever so alone, I abide in this condition. And I accepted my pain and loneliness in the spiritual desert. I accepted that there is really, except for a murmured prayer to a merciful and loving God and a remnant of a shredded faith, nothing else left.

Then, it happened a holy presence and anointing came into my room — sweetly, softly. I felt it filling me.  My heart's permeated with peace. This peace moved through my body like a cold spring of mountain water. Then, the fire of joy began to smoulder. Here, abiding with nothing more to do, my ego dropped away. My ignorant, arrogant, fearful sense of self fell away from me. I stood in light — a new being, a free being — transformed. The ugly, ungainly caterpillar, alone, enter a period of darkness, the cocoon. Out of this period of darkness emerges the butterfly — beautiful, free and no longer earthbound.

What I know on this side of it is if I hadn’t experienced the depth of the pain, the darkness of those days – I could never experience the fullness of the joy and light I’m experiencing now. God knew it’s what my heart needed. It was pain with a purpose. A purpose I couldn’t see, try as I did. To become a beautiful butterfly you have to endure the painful cocoon stage – darkness, destruction, loneliness and everything falling apart.

I wish I could show you all the big picture. I wish I could say exactly how that divine presence is coming. And when it’s coming. All I know is that it is. And it’s going to be so much more beautiful than you can even imagine.

When you find yourself in the midst of the deepest and darkest trials show gratitude because you are going through a sort of rites of passage or a spiritual detox. After going through the dark night season, you will come out even stronger in spirit. You have to look through eyes of hope and see a butterfly inside the caterpillar. Hope knows that beauty is waiting to be born in the unlikeliest places.

I know many of you are going through a hard times or a testing times. Today, I wanna tell you that if you just have faith that God can heal, restore and make you whole is enough to keep you going, is enough to lead you through the darkness. Hold on because the wisdom that will follow you out of this darkness will be a tremendous gift. The darkness will not overtake you, but will be revealed for what it is by the light that is in you.

As you let go and let God, everything will be transformed into a blessing. God can turn your problem into opportunity, your darkness into light, your sorrow into joy, and your emptiness into fullness — full of love and abundance of joy. In the darkness of your painful moments, when you are lonely, rejected and suffered, you will find the beauty of God's love and His light will overcome your darkness.

The Greatest Blessing

What people want most in life are things like health, wealth, success and popularity. Success to this world means money, power and fame. I do not measure success in life by money, fame, power. I measure success in life by living in the presence of God in every moment I have and in everything I do.

Material things can never wholly satisfy us. Indeed, we know from experience that every item we have desired has pleased us only for a short while. Then it became boring, and we started to desire something else.  The wealth and pleasure of the world do not contain a sweetness sufficient to satisfy the heart of man. Until we have found our capacity to enjoy the blissful presence of God (abundant life), nothing in this world can wholly satisfy us. I believe unless we can fully experience the blessing of the presence of God we can never fully enjoy the material blessings of God.

I know that money can make this life a little easier especially for those that struggle for necessities. But a loving relationship with God can never be replaced with money. You can buy almost everything with money. But you can never buy intimacy with God with money.

It's not wrong to have and to enjoy our material blessings. In fact, I believe it is God's will for us to prosper. But the greatest blessing that God wants to give us is not material things. It's the blessing of God's presence that brings eternal joy, peace and meaning. The true blessings of God are all matters of the soul -- emotional well-being, loving relationships, godly character, and, most of all, God Himself.

I believe whatever we do for God's sake, He will take care of us and reward us. If we diligently seek Him, He will reward us with His presence that brings peace and joy. As we improve the health and strength of our physical being by proper food and exercise, so we improve the strength and beauty of our spiritual being by proper prayer and meditation on God's word. After going through a long period of wilderness, testing and spiritual trials, now I have come to see that the greatest of all blessings is just to know God and to be in His presence. I have reached the land of "eternal weights of glory" and the regions where "joy is unspeakable".

As you walk closely with the Lord, two things happen. First you reflect the glory of God like a mirror and then you are transformed into His glorious likeness. Once you have tasted His glory you cannot stop craving it. Once you have tasted the glory of His presence, you cannot be satisfied with anything less. Once you have experienced intimacy with God, you will never feel lonely again and you don't need worldly pleasures to make your day anymore. The sweetness of God's presence in the soul is as much more glorious than the sweetness of sugar to the taste as spiritual and heavenly things are above literal and earthly things.

I pray, may living in God's presence become a reality in your daily experience. May God give you grace to possess the divine presence in its fulness and to enjoy your life to the fullest.

From Ashes to Glory

By: Jasminka Diehl

For some time now, many of us have been going through the INTENSE purging, through this "wilderness" experience, where the heat is almost unbearable. The winds have risen up and have stirred all kinds of things, the loneliness and heartbreak are our companions.

Some of us have built the strongholds all around us. I speak this from my very own experience, but I do know that I am not the only one, but am just one of many that God is bringing through, at this time.

There are walls all around us from all emotional hurts. Rejections and heart pains have taught us how to fortify our hearts, to protect and guard it against all that would come our way. We have made ourselves strong by building the wall with our own hands, and every time we went through the suffering and heart pains, the wall became bigger and stronger.

But that strength was made within us rather than allowing God to be that strength in our weakness.

So the time has come, and He is tearing down all those defenses and walls we have carefully built with our own hands. The time has come to reveal all our life wounds and scars, to become completely open and vulnerable to God.

VERY PAINFUL EXPERIENCE!!!

But out of those ashes of the broken humanity there is the new spirit arising, totally and completely belonging to God, being devoted only to Him, and following Him wherever He may lead.

Maturity has a PRICE -- it costs us all. All of our will, and all of our flesh will have to be consumed in His fire, so that the holiness will become the NORM of our living, and Jesus Christ will become truly the one and only living within us. That way it will not be just the words we talk about, the scripture we have learned to quote, but our very own life will become the Gospel, walking in the WAY of the Lord. For Jesus is THE WAY!

I know that I am not alone in these things I am experiencing. God is tearing down our walls, and through the tears of repentance and our heartbreaks, the NEW us is rising up, from the ashes of old we are being formed to His liking.

The fire of holiness is raging, the winds of change are blowing, gathering the ashes as the offering, so that the new man is being formed, and the Glory of God will be able to reside and fill that temple. The Body of Christ will truly become His Body, the Holy Temple, the true Bride.

There is the time and the place in God, where each one of us will have to "expose" ourselves, unlock, and open up all the hidden passage ways that lead to the CENTER of our heart, so that the healing waters can flow, and the restoration can take place.

For how can we help and restore others if we are in need of restoration ourselves?

God knows what He is doing, He is in ultimate control. Belonging to Him we are not our own anymore, and He WILL accomplish all that needs to be accomplished.

Heart breaks will come, the pain and suffering, the loneliness and hardships too. But all those are just tools, used to help us being shaped into the true sons and daughters of God. For out of the broken heart the true compassion will flow.

Out of the broken humanity the holy nation will arise, and their destiny and their purpose will finally take place. We will be called the PURE and HOLY, as we reveal God's Glory to all the people on the earth.

So let God's fire rage and consume, let the winds of change blow. For upon the ashes of old the former and the latter rain will fall, the power of the Holy Spirit will once again raise the dead out of the tomb and confines of this flesh, and we will shine, clothed in the very Glory of our God.

Life is Still Beautiful If You Make It Beautiful

God created everything on earth for our enjoyment. Life is really a beautiful things but it really need a big obstacle to happen to realize that. Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together. You have to fight through some bad days to earn the best days of your life. A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are also thankful for the setbacks. Find a way to be thankful for your troubles, and they can become your blessings.

Everyone’s life is tough and filled with pain and sorrow but you can try and see it from a different angle and you will be amazed how beautiful it is as well. After All the pain and sorrow you've gone through, Life is still beautiful if you make it beautiful. The reason why many people kept seeing it in a depressing way is because they allowed their thoughts to think of all the negative things that are occurring in their life. They surrounded themselves with people who just keep reminding them of their failures instead of surrounding themselves with people who encourage them and give them the best time they could ever ask for. And they kept believing that their problems are bigger than their God.

I think everyone at some point, goes through that one moment where they think "Oh God, It's so hard, I can’t do this." But you know what? — God said, "You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you." No matter how close you are to the edge, no matter how painful the circumstances are, no matter how badly you feel like giving up, — don’t lose hope that things will get better. You must believe that God has a beautiful ending for you. You are closer to your miracle than you think. You face your greatest opposition when your closest to your biggest miracle. The Moment you are ready to quit is usually the moment right before the miracle happens. Don't give up !!! Just keep fighting, this is just the battle before the breakthrough.

I know sometimes life can be so hard. It can beat you down, it can spit in your face, it can do just about anything, and yet you can't do a thing to prevent it. But one day you will smile again. You will wake up in the morning, and not have to fight the urge to cry anymore. Yes, it can take a while, weeks, months, maybe even years. If you truly surrender everything to God and learn to trust Him in the process, eventually you will get there, and enjoy the beautiful ending.

I don't know why we must go through painful state in our lives, but I believe God loves us and has plans for us -- plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future. So, if we believe that God is working in us, our tears and anguish will cease. In order to give us His likeness God uses our pain to make the most beautiful pearls and the most expensive diamonds. I have learned to embrace my pain and make something beautiful out of it. Life is a gift from God, so let's enjoy it to the fullest.
